Another very important use for Ilosone is in prevention of rheumatic fever. It is quite obvious that Ilosone is one of the most widely used antibiotics and one that can be employed in a wide variety of cases.

Ilosone is an antibiotic that is considered very safe and it is not expected to have any adverse effects on any conditions that you might have, except on liver disease and myasthenia gravis. These conditions can be affected and your doctor needs to know if you are suffering from either of them. Ilosone cannot be used in case you are allergic to this type of antibiotics or if you are taking cisapride or pimozide as interactions between these medications and Ilosone can be life-threatening.
