Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF)

Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund was created to raise awareness and support to help fight and cure Juvenile Diabetes. Doctors On Call supports JDRF by supporting the annual JDRF walk for a cure and by auctioning medical services at the annual silent auction.

Samaritan House

The Samaritan House is a non-profit organization that provides Hope, healing and change for victims of domestic violence and homeless families. Doctors On Call provides medical support to the Annual De-Feet Domestic Violence Walk-A-Thon held at the ocean front.

Make-A-Wish Foundation

The mission of Make-A-Wish Foundation is to grant wishes to children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 who have life threatening medical conditions. Doctors On Call is proud to offer medical support to the Eastern Virginia Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

CINCH -Consortium for Infant and Child Health– Contact: Suzan Osterheldt

CINCH is an organization created through EVMS –Eastern Virginia Medical School to help working families apply and obtain health insurance through the FAMIS Plan. Doctors On Call is working with CINCH to raise awareness on available insurance for working families. Contact Suzan Osterheldt for more information.

Family Access to Medical Insurance Security Plan (FAMIS)

FAMIS is Virginia's program that helps families provide health insurance to their children. Health insurance is important to make sure that kids are able to get all the help they need to grow up healthy. Doctors On Call works together with CINCH to raise awareness with the community of the benefits available through FAMIS to Virginia Families.

Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulates all laboratory testing (except research) performed on humans in the U.S. through the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA). The objective of the CLIA program is to ensure quality laboratory testing. Doctors On Call relentlessly adheres to CLIA guidelines to ensure all our lab facilities provide the best services for our patients.

Medical Research Initiatives (MRI)

Medical Research Initiatives (MRI) is a dedicated multidisciplinary clinical research site that specializes in phase II-IV studies. MRI’s areas of interest include Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, and Cardiology. Doctors On Call is a direct corporate affiliate of MRI. The access to and availability of leading edge medical solutions for our patients provide a great opportunity for them to realize a much more comfortable lifestyle.

Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp)

LabCorp is one of the world's largest clinical laboratories. Doctors On Call works closely with LabCorp to provide extended laboratory support to our patients.
